This fifth in a series of Home Concerts features Nancy Tripp, Singer and Friends… a four-piece band including Chuck Will on keyboards, Dave Cook on clarinet, Robbin Bourbeau on bass, and Ray Heath on drums. You will be treated to special editions of standard from “The Great American Songbook.”

Founded in 1924, by the late educator, conductor and composer, Joseph Wagner, the Boston Civic Symphony is the city’s second oldest orchestra and has been the orchestra-in-residence at Regis College in Weston since 1994. Max Hobart, now celebrating his 30th season as music director and conductor, will lead the orchestra.

Described by the American Record Guide magazine as “a consummate musician …..one of America’s finest exponents of contemporary piano music,” Mr. Lifchitz has released 9 highly praised compact disc albums featuring piano music by composers from the Americas and appears as collaborative artist or conductor on many more.
